The Mutt Strut

It's a 3-mile sponsored walk to benefit the Inland Mendocino Humane Society. 100 people and 130 dogs strutted through the streets of Ukiah, CA. Then the contests: Longest Tail; Best Trick; Biggest Doggy; Smallest Doggy ("Belle," a 200 lb Bull Mastiff entered Small Dog Contest and lost greviously); Doggy/Owner Most LookaLike; Best Costume.

Contest winners received massive milkbones with the appropriate ribbon.

3. THIRD PLACE COSTUME: is not pictured because she would not stand still. However she was wearing an orange shirt with sleeves and something that looked like an orange cloth swimming cap with vertical green shapes. Her mistress said she was a 'wannabe Pumpkin.'

2. SECOND PLACE COSTUME: is the fox terrier in Skirt (and necklace).
