The interior designer wanted an abstract piece. The hotel owners wanted a figurative piece. I was asked to submit ideas via an art consultant.

In the Bahamas there is a refuge for black underwinged flamingos. Using this imagery, abstracting some forms and designing the piece in layers satisfied all parties. I received the commission!
